Part 1: Getting Started with Google Adsense

Google Adsense – allows revenue generation from displaying relevant ads on your blog or website. Google Adsense delivers relevant ads targeted to your site by your site content.

Bundubloggers simply add the Google Adsense sidebar widget to their blog, this will allow Google to analyze the blog content and serve the appropriate ads.

There are multiple ways to earn revenue from Google Adsense and bundublog.com

a. Adsense for Content – Display targeted Ads
b. Referrals – Referring users to products and services

1. SIGNUP

Signup as a publisher with Google Adsense at adsense.google.com.

2. ADSENSE ID

Once your account has been created, login to Google Adsense at http://adsense.google.com,

Click on “My Account”, under the “Property Information” Section record your Adsense ID e.g. “ ca-pub-****** ”

3. ADDING GOOGLE ADSENSE TO BLOG - Adsense for content

Login to your account at bundublog.com, go to the “Presentation” tab, then “Widgets” sub tab.
Find the Google Adsense widget and “Drag and Drop” the widget onto your sidebar.
Edit the widget by clicking on the on the right of the widget, this will bring up a configuration box where you will place your Adsense ID, recorded in Step 2, in the “google_ad_client” section and Save changes.

4. CUSTOMIZE ADSENSE-Widget

Change the way Google Adsense displays the ads by, logging into bundublog.com, go to the “Presentation” tab, then “Widgets” sub tab, clicking on the right of the Google Adsense widget and editing the width, height, ad type and colours.

5. ADDING GOOGLE ADSENSE TO BLOG – Referrals

a. Login to Google Adsense at http://adsense.google.com, go to “Adsense Setup” tab, then click on “Referrals” link, Select the product that you would like to display, then submit and get code. In the “Your Adsense unit code” box copy and paste all the code into the following….step b.

b. Login to bundublog.com, go to the “Presentation” tab, then “Widgets” sub tab. Find the Text widget and “Drag and Drop” the widget onto your side bar. Edit the widget by clicking on the on the right of the widget, this will bring up a text box. Paste the code from step a. into the box and save changes.

6. GOOGLE ADSENSE PROGRAM POLICIES

Adhere to Google Adsense policies at all times. You should never click on your own ads as Google have many checks in place to stop click fraud. Google will quickly disable your account and no payment will be made if they suspect any fraud.
